Our In-Home Nutritional Assistance Program kiddos/Weekly Bible Club kids are having a wonderful time at Summer Bible Camp! Adam, myLIFEspeaks’ Community Development Director, along with several of our Zanmi Pou Lavi Peers put on a great camp for the kids these last two weeks.
They discussed God’s creations, played games, sang songs, and had snacks. It was a wonderful time had by all! See photos via the slideshow gallery below:
These are vulnerable children from our immediate community whose families benefit from our In-Home Nutritional Assistance Programming (feeding program). This program helps empower families and parents to be able to provide a safe, healthy, and nurturing family environment for their children and mitigates the risk of parents, out of poverty/desperation, relinquishing their children to Haitian orphanages. A reality that sadly is an all too common issue in impoverished communities.
These children are with their families and are being empowered and supported because of the nutritional assistance, resources, and programming myLIFEspeaks offers.
